Viral Shot Blasting

We operate out of unit 628/6 in the GIDC Estate at Manjusar. It’s a rugged part of Savli where there’s a lot of heavy industry. Viral Shot Blasting is basically a large shed where we clean metal parts. It is a very loud and dusty job. We wear masks and heavy gloves most of the day. The air is always filled with the sound of the machines. We aren't a polished office with air conditioning. Our walls are stained with grit and the floor is hard concrete. We take in old metal pieces that are rusted or dirty and we blast them until they are clean again. It’s hard work and your arms get tired from holding the equipment. My brother and I took over this place a few years back. We don't have a logo or any fancy signage. People in the GIDC just know where we are. We usually have a pile of scrap metal near the entrance. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them ourselves. We don't mind the mess. It’s just how this kind of work is. We eat our lunch sitting on wooden crates outside when the weather is nice. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy website. We just want to get the parts cleaned and sent back to the customers on time. It’s a simple, honest living in a busy industrial zone.
