If you’ve ever been near Gandhi Travels in Shiya Baug, you’ve probably walked right past our office at Vimit Construction. We are tucked into Shakti Apartments, which is a busy little spot in Vadodara. The office is usually full of maps, site plans, and a fair amount of dust from whatever project is currently underway. Construction isn't a clean job, and our workspace definitely shows that. We spend most of our time jumping between the office and various sites around the city. Dealing with laborers, checking on materials like sand and bricks, and trying to keep everything on schedule is what fills up our day. Vadodara is growing so fast, and being part of that means there is never a quiet moment. We’ve had this spot for a while now, and it’s become a bit of a hub for our regular contractors to drop by and argue about timelines. It’s not a corporate environment by any stretch. There is usually tea going around and people talking over each other about the latest building regulations or the price of steel. We just take it one day at a time, trying to get the walls up and the roofs on without too much trouble. It’s a lot of hard work, long hours under the sun, and plenty of paperwork back at the desk. That’s just how it is for us, and we wouldn't know what else to do with our time anyway.
