You can find us at 453, GIDC Estate in Makarpura. This place has been our base for Vijay Industrial Adhesives for a long time. The smell of glue and chemicals is pretty much everywhere here, but you get used to it after the first week. Makarpura is a massive industrial area, so there are always trucks and tempos blocking the narrow lanes. Our unit 453 is tucked in between a metal shop and a plastic molding place. It gets very loud during the day. We have big drums of raw materials stacked up near the entrance. The floor is always a little bit tacky, no matter how much we sweep it. We have a small team here, and we all pitch in with the mixing and the packing. There is no receptionist or anything; you just walk in and find someone on the floor. We keep our paperwork in a dusty cabinet in the back. The roof is made of corrugated sheets, so when it rains, you can barely hear yourself talk. We don't have any polished marketing stuff around. It is just a workspace where we make adhesives. We have our tea together in the afternoon and then get back to filling the orders for the local factories. Sometimes we stay until late evening to finish a batch and get it ready for shipping.
