Precision Machining Tool Room

Precision Machining Tool Room is out on Vadsar Road in the GIDC Makarpura area of Vadodara. We are at 81-2. This is an industrial neighborhood, so we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. We do a lot of metal work, mostly making parts and fixing tools for other companies. The machines we use are heavy and take up most of the floor space. It’s usually pretty oily and smells like cut metal in here. We have a small crew of guys who really know how to handle the lathes and milling machines. We aren't a big operation with a human resources department or anything like that. If you have a problem, you just talk to the person on the floor. We’ve been in Vadodara for a long time. The address at 81-2 GIDC is where all the work happens. We don't really have a front office, just a small desk in the corner for the invoices. Most of the day is spent looking at blueprints and measuring things down to the last millimeter. It’s slow work because you can't afford to make mistakes with metal. We just focus on getting the pieces right so the customers are happy when they pick them up. It’s a practical, hardworking environment where we just get on with the daily tasks. This shop has been our second home for many years and counting.
