Vadodara Municipal Corportation

Our place is in Manjalpur, right at C-20 in the Suvarana Duplex. It’s a good location because we’re near Gajanan Park, so there’s some greenery around if you need a break from looking at the computer screen. Alva Naka is always busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. This is where we handle things for the Vadodara Municipal Corportation. It’s a duplex, so it feels a bit more like a home than a sterile office building. We’ve got files everywhere, mostly stacked up on the wooden shelves in the back room. Sometimes the tea guy forgets to come by, and we have to go out and get our own from the stall down the road. It’s just a few of us working here. We know the neighbors pretty well, and they usually know when we’re busy because they can hear the printer going from the street. The floor tiles are a bit chipped near the entrance, but we haven't gotten around to fixing them yet. We spend our time checking through forms and making sure everything is in order. It’s a lot of routine stuff, but it’s important for the city. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three people show up at once with the same question, but we manage to get through it. It’s just how things are here in Vadodara. We show up, do the work, and go home.
