Our office is located in Atlantis Hights on Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Marg, right in the Vadivaadi area of Vadodara. We take up units 904 and 905, which gives us enough room to breathe and get our work done without bumping into each other too much. It’s a modern building, but inside it feels like any other place where people are just trying to get through their to-do lists. We deal with organic compounds and various chemical matters, so there’s always some paperwork or technical data lying around on the tables. The heat in Vadodara can be pretty intense during the summer months, so we’re thankful for the air conditioning in the building, even if it makes a bit of a humming noise all day. We’ve been at this address for a while and have gotten to know the security guards and the folks who run the tea stall downstairs. It’s a professional environment but we don't really go for the whole corporate vibe. We wear regular clothes and talk to each other like normal people. Most of our time is spent on the computers or on the phone coordinating things. It’s a steady pace here at Pab Organics. We don’t have fancy paintings on the walls or a lounge for relaxing; we just have our desks, our files, and the work that needs finishing by five or six o’clock every evening. The view from the ninth floor shows a lot of the city’s skyline, which is nice when you need a break.
