Us Dollar Store

Us Dollar Store is located at E 1/11 on Akota Road. We are directly opposite the Aditya Imaging Center, which is usually the best way to explain where we are to people who haven't visited before. Akota Road is a main stretch, so there is plenty of movement outside our windows all day long. The shop itself is pretty straightforward. We have shelves filled with all sorts of things, and we try to keep it organized, though it's a constant battle. We aren't a big chain with a corporate office in another city. We are just local folks running a shop. A typical day involves checking what’s sold, ordering new stuff, and chatting with the regulars who come by. We don't have a fancy philosophy about what we do. It’s just a store. We open the doors at a set time and we close when the day is done. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, or the parking becomes a bit of a mess, but that’s just life on Akota Road. We try to be helpful and keep things moving. We do the cleaning ourselves and handle all the small details that come with having a storefront. It’s a lot of hours, but we like being our own bosses. If you’re ever near the imaging center, you’ll probably see our sign across the street. We’re just a normal part of the neighborhood, doing what we can to keep things going.
