Our place is in Baranpura, tucked away in Jasud Maholla. The building name is Jay Ambe Krupa, which everyone in the neighborhood knows. Finding a parking spot for a vehicle is almost impossible in these narrow lanes, so most of us just ride our bikes to work. It’s a very traditional part of Vadodara, and you can hear the sounds of the street all day long. We deal with power-related stuff here. The office is basically a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of files. It’s not one of those glass buildings you see in the newer parts of the city. We’ve got some old fans that make a bit of noise, but they keep the air moving in the summer heat. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we’re a pretty tight group. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy chairs. If you drop by, you'll probably see us drinking chai and going over some technical drawings or numbers. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the old wiring in the area, but we manage to get the job done eventually. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something needing attention. The neighborhood has a lot of history, and we feel like we’re part of the local fabric. We don’t bother with big slogans or anything. We just show up every morning and get to it. It is what it is.
