Unik Architects

Unik Architects is a small place located right in Wadi. It’s not a very big office, but it serves us just fine for the work we do. Most days involve sitting at the desks and working through various building plans. Wadi is a familiar area for us, and we like being part of the local scene here. You won't find any glossy brochures or fancy receptionists when you walk in. Usually, someone is just hunched over a computer or talking loudly on a mobile phone about a delivery of bricks. We have shelves full of old files and rolls of paper that we haven't touched in years, but we can't bring ourselves to throw them away. The floor is a bit uneven, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise that we’ve all learned to ignore. We just handle the projects as they come, whether it's a small shed or something a bit bigger. It’s mostly about getting the lines straight and making sure the client knows what they’re getting. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated jargon. If a wall needs to be there, we draw it there. It’s practical work for practical people. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is breathing down our necks, but mostly we head home when the sun goes down. It’s just a normal job in a normal part of town.
