Umiya Garden Corner

We are located at A-9 Pavan Park Society, right across from the Roses Nursery in the Navayard area of Vadodara. It is a green part of town, which makes sense given what we do. We spend most of our time dealing with plants, soil, and garden supplies. It’s a messy job, and our hands are usually dirty by nine in the morning. We like being outside and seeing things grow, even when the Vadodara heat is trying its best to dry everything out. Our shop isn't a big corporate garden center; it’s more of a local spot where people come to get a few bags of earth or a new pot. We have things scattered around the yard, and sometimes you have to step over a hose to get to the back. It’s not perfect, but it feels right to us. People in the society know us, and we often spend time talking about the best way to keep a shrub alive during the summer. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a marketing plan. We just like plants and we like being part of the Navayard community. If a plant isn't doing well, we’ll tell you why without using a bunch of technical jargon. It is just a simple, honest place for people who like to get their hands in the dirt and watch things bloom. We keep it basic.
