U K Contractor

U K Contractor is located over at K 117 in the Subramanya Layout, specifically in the Hare Krishna Complex. We are tucked right behind Ankur Hospital, which is a good landmark if anyone is trying to find where we keep our office in Vadodara. We handle various types of contracting jobs that come our way. Most of our time is spent out on different sites, so the office is mostly for keeping the logs and meeting people to talk about what needs doing. It gets a bit dusty around here with all the equipment coming in and out, but that’s just the nature of the work. We’ve been in this area for a good stretch of time now. The 3rd Cross can get a little crowded with parked bikes and delivery vans, but we manage to get by. Usually, it’s just a few of us coordinating things, making sure the materials arrive and the guys know where they’re supposed to be. It isn't a big corporate operation with fancy desks. We use a lot of old clipboards and there’s always a stack of blueprints or hand-drawn sketches sitting around. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to actually get some filing done. We just take things as they come, day by day. Being near the hospital means there’s always people moving around, so it never feels lonely. We just focus on getting the projects finished.
