The road out front stays busy with people heading into the city or out toward the highways. Our building, Prabhukrupa, is a solid old place. We’ve got our office set up inside where we handle all the logistics planning. It’s mostly phones ringing and people typing away at their keyboards. It’s not a very quiet place, but that’s because there is always something moving. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or polished floors. It’s a working office. We deal with a lot of different people, from drivers to warehouse managers. Baroda is a good place to be for this kind of work because everything is connected. Sometimes the traffic on Old Chhani Road gets backed up, especially near the motor shop, but we’re used to it by now. We just focus on the task in front of us. There’s always a list of things to do and not enough hours in the day, it seems. We try to keep a relaxed atmosphere despite the deadlines. It’s just a group of us working hard to make sure the supply chain keeps moving. It’s practical, everyday work that we’ve been doing for years.
