Tunes Interiors; Architectural Hardware Fittings

Our shop, Tunes Interiors, is tucked away in 408 Manjusar GIDC. If you know the area, it’s mostly big sheds and trucks moving around all the time. We focus on architectural hardware fittings, so our space is usually filled with crates of hinges, handles, and all those small metal bits that go into buildings. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but inside we just try to keep things organized so we can find what a customer needs. We don't have a big showroom with lights or anything like that. It is more of a working warehouse where we stack things high on the metal racks. The floors are concrete and they get a bit scuffed from moving the heavy boxes around every morning. Usually, it's just a couple of us here making sure the orders are ready for the site guys to pick up. Manjusar is quite a distance from the main city, so we have to plan our day around the delivery schedules. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit by the door where there is more light. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, dealing with builders and contractors who just want their hardware on time. We’ve got a small desk for the bills and a kettle for making tea when it gets a bit quiet in the late afternoon.
