Our office is located at Shree Dutt House in the Shankar Tekari area of Baroda. We are at number 302, right near Dandia Bazar. This is an older part of the city, so the streets are narrow and it can get quite congested with scooters and pedestrians. The building has been there for a long time. Our space inside is quite cramped because we have so many files and boxes everywhere. It is a logistics office, so there is always a sense of urgency. We are constantly checking on trucks and talking to drivers. The sound of the market outside is always there in the background. We have a few old fans that hum while we work. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don't have a professional cleaning crew coming in every night, so sometimes it gets a bit dusty. We just handle the cleaning ourselves mostly. The people who work here are local to Baroda and we’ve known each other for years. We eat our lunch together and talk about whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It is a very plain office with no fancy lights or carpets. We just need a place to sit and use the phone and the computer. It works for what we need to do. Moving things from one place to another is what we know best, and this spot in Baroda is where it happens.
