Trainee Engineer

We are over in Gorwa, part of the Navadurga Society here in Vadodara. The address is A/18, near Roobam Society. It’s a residential area, so it’s mostly houses and small lanes. It’s quite different from the big industrial zones you see on the edge of the city. Being in a society like this means we know most of our neighbors. They know when we’re busy because they can see the lights on late at Trainee Engineer. The office is basically just a converted part of the building. It’s got white walls that need a new coat of paint and some sturdy tables where we set up our gear. Sometimes the local kids play cricket right outside our door, and we have to watch out when we walk out. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’re not from around here. You have to take the turn near Shayoug and then look for our gate. We don't have a big neon sign or anything. It’s just a normal place where we do our engineering work. My colleague brings homemade snacks sometimes, and we sit around the small table in the back. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay busy enough. It’s just a regular local spot in Vadodara where we show up every morning and do what needs doing. It is a simple life and we like how it turned out.
