Top - O - Plast

Top - O - Plast is located at 292 in the G.I.D.C. Estate in Makarpura. This is a huge industrial area, so there are factories and workshops every few meters. Our unit is just one of many, but we’ve been here at P.B. No. 724 for quite a long time. We work with plastic molding and various plastic parts. The shop floor is usually a bit of a mess with plastic pellets and half-finished pieces, but that’s just the nature of the business. We have a few older machines that we’ve maintained ourselves over the years. They make a lot of noise, but they still work fine for what we need. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone to make things look pretty. It’s just a few of us who know the trade. We spend our mornings checking the orders and our afternoons making sure the shipments are packed up. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors. We don't use any fancy software to run the place, just a few notebooks and a lot of memory. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup. We like it that way because it keeps things simple and we know exactly what’s happening at every machine.
