Tirupati Immigration

Working out of the fourth floor of Aries Complex in Alkapuri gives us a decent view of the street below. Vadodara is growing fast, and you can really see it from up here near the Productivity Road. We are right opposite Neptune Tower, which is a big landmark that helps people find us when they get lost. Tirupati Immigration has been in this office for a few years now. The elevator in this building is one of those old ones that takes its time, so we often just tell people to be patient. Inside, the office is mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. We have maps on the walls and a lot of folders piled up on the side tables. It’s not a very quiet place because the phones are usually ringing or there’s someone at the door asking about visa forms. We don’t have a big reception team; usually, whoever is free just looks up and says hello. The carpet is a bit worn out in the spots where people walk the most, and the lighting is just standard office tubes. We spend our days checking documents and making sure everything is filled out correctly. It’s a lot of sitting and reading, to be honest. When the sun hits the windows in the late afternoon, it gets pretty bright, so we end up squinting at our screens. It’s just a normal office where we do our daily grind.
