Our shop is situated in Vadodara on Street No. 2-1/2. We are right by the Sadhana Theatre, so if you know where that is, you can find us easily. It’s near Baba Mukand, and it’s a bit of an older part of the city. Working with diamonds means we spend a lot of time sitting at the benches with our magnifying glasses. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve got enough room for the display cases and our workspace. It’s a quiet atmosphere inside, which is a big contrast to the noise from the theatre crowds outside. We’ve been here for many years, and the Maharaja name has been on this street for a long time. We don't have a big flashy sign or a security guard at the door like the malls do. It’s just a traditional setup where we value the craft. The lighting inside is quite bright so we can see the small details in the stones. Some days we have people coming in looking for something special, and other days we just focus on cleaning and organizing the inventory. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We’ve seen many neighbors come and go, but we have stayed in this same spot. The street can be a bit narrow, so it’s mostly foot traffic that stops by. We just do our work and keep things simple without any fuss.
