The Assist Buddy

You can find The Assist Buddy over at Shop No 204 in the Jalaram Complex, which is situated near the well-known Jalaram Mandir in Karelibaug. We chose this spot because it’s a central location where people can easily drop by. Our space is on the second floor, so it’s a bit quieter than the ground-level shops, which we actually prefer for the kind of assistance work we do. It’s a simple setup with a few desks, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of notebooks and files. We aren't into the whole high-tech office look; we just want a place where we can sit down and help folks out with their requirements. The complex has a lot of different businesses, so there’s a nice mix of people coming and going throughout the day. Having the mandir nearby gives the whole area a peaceful feeling, especially in the evenings. We spend our time managing various tasks and helping people organize their needs. It’s not a complicated business model—we just try to be useful. Sometimes we have tea with the other shop owners in the complex and talk about how the week is going. It feels like a small community within Karelibaug. We try to keep our schedule flexible to accommodate whoever needs a hand. It’s just us, doing our bit to make things a little easier for our clients.
