Textile Innovations

We are based at 10, Amrakunj Soc., near the Race Course Circle. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a textile business, being in a society, but it works for us. Our rooms are filled with samples and swatches of all kinds of materials. It can get a bit messy when we are working on a new project, with scraps of cloth all over the floor. We try to keep it organized, but by Friday, things usually look a little chaotic. The light in this building is actually pretty good for looking at colors. We spend a lot of time comparing shades to make sure they match what was asked for. It’s quiet enough here compared to the main road, which we appreciate. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to say hello or ask what we are making. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we cut and measure. It keeps the energy up. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack boxes in the hallway for a few hours. It’s not a perfect system, but it's ours. We’ve been at this for a while now, and we’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. Just a few of us here, doing the daily tasks and making sure things get finished on time.
