Nilpavan Oil Mill

Nilpavan Oil Mill is located out in Village Bahutha, which is part of the Savli area in Vadodara. If you drive down to 187/a, you’ll find us easily enough. The mill has been running for some time, and the machines make a fair bit of noise, so it’s never really quiet here. It gets dusty, and there is always the smell of crushed seeds in the air, which we’ve mostly grown used to by now. Life in the village moves at its own pace, but at the mill, things stay pretty steady. We have a few hands who help out with the heavy lifting and keeping the equipment greased up. It’s not a shiny new factory with computers everywhere. Most of our tools are old and have been repaired more times than I can count. We just focus on getting the work done day by day. Sometimes the rain makes the roads to the village a bit muddy, which can slow things down, but that’s just life in the country. We don't spend much time on paperwork unless we have to. Most of the folks around here know where we are if they need anything. We don’t have a big office or fancy chairs. Usually, someone is sitting on a wooden stool by the entrance keeping track of the loads coming in. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We’re just a local mill doing what we know how to do.
