Swastik Printery

We've been at the Raopura Annapurna Industrial Estate for quite a while now. Most people find us by looking for Tilak Road and then heading right behind School Number 1. It’s usually pretty loud here with the machines running all day long. Swastik Printery is just a small place where we handle whatever print jobs come our way through the door. Some days the ink gets everywhere and the paper piles up high on the old wooden desks. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It's mostly just us working through stacks of orders. The school kids walk by in the morning and afternoon, and that’s how we track time. We keep our tools ready and just get to work when the power is on. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow lane, but we manage to move things around. There’s a lot of dust from the industrial area, so we spend a bit of time cleaning the equipment before we start. It isn't a glamorous setup. We just deal with the local requirements and try to keep the presses moving. If you walk past the school, you’ll hear the clatter of our shop. We’ve stayed in this same spot because it’s where we know the neighbors. We drink tea from the stall nearby and just keep at it day after day. It's just a normal workplace with normal people doing normal jobs.
