Swastiek Industries

If you are coming to see us, we are right near the Palodara Railway Station. You can hear the trains passing by all day long from our spot on Mani Railway Station Road. It’s a bit noisy, but you get used to it after a week or two. Swastiek Industries isn’t a massive factory or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things done. The building is made of concrete and the floors are a bit stained from all the work, but it serves its purpose. We keep the main gate open during the day so the breeze can come through. There is usually a lot of dust from the road, so we spend a lot of time sweeping up. We don’t have any fancy furniture in the office area. It’s just old chairs and a couple of wooden desks. Most of our workers live nearby in Palodara, so they just walk or bike in. We start early in the morning when the first trains start running. It’s a busy atmosphere with people moving stuff back and forth. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phone with a formal greeting. We just pick up and talk. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We’ve been in this spot for years and the station has changed more than we have. It’s just a steady, working-class setup that keeps us busy.
