Bela Textile

Bela Textile is located in Surya Nagar Society, which is just off Waghodia Road. It’s a residential area mostly, but we’ve got our setup here and it works for us. We deal with fabrics and textiles every day. If you walk into our space, you’ll probably see piles of cloth everywhere. It’s not very organized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. My family has been doing this for a while. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. We just work on smaller batches and take care of the orders that come in from local shops around the city. Waghodia Road is always busy, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We usually try to get things moved early in the morning before the traffic gets bad and the heat starts. The society is a friendly place, and we try not to make too much noise with the machines. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the threads and making sure the colors are right. It’s repetitive work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that I like. We have a couple of sewing machines and a big cutting table that takes up most of the main room. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock arriving, but we make do. We don’t really do much advertising. People mostly find us through word of mouth or by just seeing the address in the directory.
