Our place is over at E-5 in Sardar Estate, right across from the GEB sub station on Ajwa Road. It’s a busy part of the city with trucks coming in and out all day long. Being right opposite the power station makes it easy to give people directions, though the traffic on Ajwa Road can be a bit of a headache during rush hour. We spend most of our time inside the unit working with fiber materials. It can get pretty dusty and loud in here when the machines are running full tilt. The estate has been here for years, and you can tell by the state of some of the buildings, but our spot works for what we need. We don’t have any fancy signage or a big lobby for visitors. Usually, we're just out on the floor or loading something onto a small tempo. Lunch is usually a quick thing we bring from home, sitting on some stools near the back door where there's a bit of a breeze. Dealing with fiber is messy work, you end up with it on your clothes no matter how careful you are. It’s a standard industrial setup, nothing special to look at from the outside. We just focus on getting the daily orders sorted and making sure the machines don’t act up too much in the afternoon heat. There is always a lot of cleaning to do before we lock up the doors for the night.
