Our place is located right in the middle of the Gidc. If you know industrial areas, you know exactly what it’s like around here. There are a lot of trucks moving through the gates and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant from morning until night. We’ve been here at Sud-Chemie-India for a long time. The building is a bit older, with high ceilings and heavy doors to keep the dust out. We work with chemicals, so we have to be careful and follow the rules we have set for ourselves. It isn't a fancy office with carpets or anything like that. We have concrete floors and metal shelves filled with containers. The staff here is a mix of people who have been with us for twenty years and some younger guys who are just getting used to the heat of the factory floor. In the summer, it gets really hot inside, so we take a lot of breaks near the big fans. Lunch is usually a simple affair, everyone sitting together and sharing food from their tiffins. We don't do much in the way of advertising or marketing because we are always busy with the orders we already have. It is a lot of hard work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready to head home. We just focus on getting the chemical mixes right and making sure the shipments are ready to go out on time.
