Subhash Bhagchand Chandra

My name is Subhash Bhagchand Chandra and I have my setup at Vadodara Girijabai Patil Chaw 6. It’s an old place, and everyone around here knows each other. Working in a chaw is different from a modern office building because there’s always something going on outside. You hear the kids playing and the neighbors talking, which I don't mind. I have a small room where I keep all my tools and papers. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for what I do. I’ve lived and worked in Vadodara for a long time, so I’m familiar with how things work here. People just walk up to the door and ask for me. I don't use any fancy computer programs for everything, sometimes I still prefer doing things by hand with a pencil and ruler. The space is a bit cramped because of all the books and old records I’ve kept over the years. I usually start my day early before it gets too hot. It’s a simple life and a simple business. I don’t feel the need to move to a bigger office because this place suits me just fine. My family is nearby, and the community is helpful. When someone needs a bit of advice or a quick drawing, they know I’m usually sitting right here at my small desk in Chaw 6.
