Studio 3 Designs

You can find Studio 3 Designs over at the Race Course Circle. We are in the A Wing on Shimpoli Road, specifically in room 606. It’s up on the sixth floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below. The building is usually buzzing with people going in and out. Inside our space, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of sketches pinned to the walls. We do a lot of designing here, so there is always some project on the screen. It isn’t the biggest office, but it fits what we need. We have a small area where we keep the kettle for making coffee when the afternoons get long. Sometimes the elevator takes a while, but that’s just life in a big building. Shimpoli Road is always busy, so there’s plenty of noise from the traffic. We’ve been at this location for a bit now and have settled into a routine. The lighting is okay, though we added some extra lamps for when we stay late. We don’t really go for that slick, empty look you see in magazines. Our shelves are full of old samples and folders that we haven’t looked at in months. It’s a working studio through and through. We just get on with the jobs we have and try to keep things moving along. There’s always someone coming in or out with a roll of paper. It is just a normal spot where design work happens every day without much ceremony.
