Out on Ajwa Road, you’ll find us at Sardar Estate in unit C-14A. We work with scientific glass, which is a bit of a delicate job compared to some of our neighbors. It takes a steady hand and a lot of patience to get things right. Some days are better than others. Sometimes a piece breaks right at the end and we have to start all over again. That's just part of working with glass, I suppose. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It is mostly just the workbench and the tools we use every day. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the locals around the estate know us as the glass people. It’s a bit of a niche thing, making laboratory supplies and custom tubes, but it keeps us busy. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the glass we send out doesn't have bubbles or cracks in it. The heat from the torches makes the shop quite warm in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. We usually keep the doors open to catch a breeze. If you’re driving down Ajwa Road, it’s not hard to find the estate. Just look for the gate and come on back to our section. It’s simple work but we take it seriously enough.
