Sparsh Clinic

Sparsh Clinic is located at C/26 in the Bhagyoday Shopping Center. We are right on the Gorwa Refinery Road, just across from Sahyog Society. It’s a good spot in Gorwa, very easy to point out to people who are new to the area. The shopping center is usually buzzing with activity, so there is always something going on outside. Our clinic is a modest space. We have a front area where people wait and then the consultation room in the back. The walls are painted a light color to make it feel a bit bigger than it actually is. We spend most of our day here, from the morning until we close up in the evening. There is a lot of foot traffic outside, and sometimes you can hear the refinery workers passing by or the sound of the traffic on Refinery Road. We keep a stash of notebooks for appointments, though we try to remember the regulars by face. It’s not a sterile, cold hospital environment. It’s more like a neighborhood office. We have a small desk for the paperwork and some shelves for the files. Sometimes the door hinges creak a bit, and we keep meaning to oil them, but we get busy and forget about it. People come here when they have a fever or need a quick look at something that’s bothering them. We don’t use any complicated jargon; we just talk to people like neighbors.
