Sorbead India

Sorbead India is located at Plot 306-307 in the Prayosha Complex. We are right near the Hyundai motors showroom, which is usually how we tell people to find us. Channi Jakat Naka is a busy spot with plenty of traffic. Our space is basically a combination of a warehouse and a small office area. We handle these little desiccant packets, the ones you find in shoeboxes sometimes. It’s dusty work because the material can get everywhere if a bag rips. We spend the day weighing things out and packing them into boxes. The floor is concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter, though it’s the opposite in the summer heat. We have a couple of rows of shelves that are always full of stock. It’s a practical setup. There’s no big corporate sign or anything, just our name on the door. The guys in the back are usually listening to the radio while they work. We have a routine that involves checking the inventory every morning. Sometimes the delivery trucks get blocked by the traffic near the showroom, which slows things down a bit. We don't have a lot of meetings; we just talk over the desks when something needs to be done. It’s an honest day’s work for us. We just make sure the moisture-absorbing stuff is ready to go out whenever an order comes through. By the time evening rolls around, we are ready to wash the dust off our hands and go.
