Our place is right behind the Akota Garden at 17-Sushil Society. If you have been around Vadodara, you probably know the area. It is a nice spot, though the parking can be a bit of a nightmare on the weekends when everyone goes to the garden. We have been dealing with ceramics for a long time now. The office is full of tile samples and bits of clay and catalogs that are starting to curl at the edges. It is not a showroom where everything is perfect and shiny. There is usually some dust on the floor because that is just the nature of the business. We spend our days talking to builders and people trying to fix up their bathrooms. Sometimes the shipments are late and we have to make a bunch of phone calls to find out where the truck is. My desk is covered in papers and old tea cups. We have been in this society for years, so all the neighbors know us. It is a small team, mostly just us and a couple of guys to help with the heavy lifting. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just walk in and someone will probably be on the phone or checking an invoice. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons here in Gujarat, so the fan is always humming. We just keep at it, day after day, making sure the orders go out and the stock is where it needs to be. It is just a normal local business.
