Sigma Scientific Glass P.Ltd. is situated at 4606 in the GIDC area. This is where we have both our head office and our factory. Being in GIDC means we are surrounded by other industrial plants, so the environment is very work-focused. Working with scientific glass is a precise job, and having the factory and the office in the same place at number 4606 helps us keep an eye on everything. The GIDC estate is huge, and it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We’ve been here for a long time, so we know every corner of this section. Our building is a simple industrial structure. It isn't built for show; it’s built for making glass. Inside, there is the smell of the burners and the sound of machines. We have a team of people who have been blowing and shaping glass for years. We aren't interested in corporate polish or marketing speak. We just talk about the glass and the orders we need to finish. The office part is just as straightforward—lots of ledgers and technical drawings spread out on tables. It’s a place where things actually get made. We just care about the work itself, not about how we describe it. Most of our day is spent making sure the glass is right before it leaves the GIDC gate and gets shipped out to the customers. We stay pretty busy.
