Shreenathji Oil Depot

Shreenathji Oil Depot is located at Kiwale Chowk in Kiwale Gaon, right in the Taluka Haveli area at number 11. It’s a busy corner where people are always passing through on their way to other villages. We deal with various types of cooking oils, mostly in large quantities. You’ll see big drums and tins stacked up against the walls inside. The floor can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful with the pouring, so we keep plenty of sawdust and rags around. We spend a lot of time transfering oil from the big barrels into smaller containers for customers who just need a liter or two. It’s a messy job sometimes, and our clothes usually end up smelling like oil by the end of the day. We have a heavy weighing scale that’s been with us since we opened. It’s not digital, but it works perfectly. People from the village come in with their own empty bottles, and we fill them up. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to show up. Sometimes we sit out front on wooden stools when things are quiet. It’s a slow-paced kind of business, but it’s important for the local kitchens. We’ve known some of these families for generations. It’s just a plain old oil depot, nothing more and nothing less for the community.
