Shree Saibaba Rubber Products

Out here in the GIDC area of Waghodia, things are quite industrial. Shree Saibaba Rubber Products is at plot 914, surrounded by other factories and warehouses. It is a loud place because of the machines running and the trucks moving in and out of the gates. The smell of burning rubber is pretty strong, but we don't mind it much anymore. We spend our shifts making sure the molds are set right and the rubber comes out the way it should. It is sweaty work, especially when the machines have been running since six in the morning. We have a small crew of workers who know the machines inside out. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend half the day fixing a pump or a belt, which is frustrating but part of the job. There is a small canteen nearby where we get our lunch and talk about how the week is going. We don't have a fancy office with carpets or nice paintings. Our floor is concrete and our walls have a bit of grease on them. We just focus on making the parts that our customers need for their own machines or projects. It is hard work, and we all go home tired at the end of the shift, but we like being part of the industrial hub here.
