Started here at Sharadnagar because it’s close to the main road and the Gopal Krishna Hotel compound gives us enough space for what we do. It’s mostly just us handling the day to day stuff with the trucks and the boxes. Usually, things start pretty early in the morning when the first drivers show up and we have to get the logs sorted out. Some days are just a mess of paperwork and phone calls, but that’s how it goes when you’re moving things from one place to another. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and most people around here know where to find us if they need something moved or just want to check on a delivery. The yard gets a bit dusty in the summer and when it rains the ground turns into a bit of a puddle, but we keep the gates open and keep working through it. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a desk and some chairs and a lot of clipboards hanging on the wall. Sometimes the chai guy comes by twice if we’re really busy. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks as long as the work gets finished. If you’re coming down here, just look for the hotel and then turn into the compound and you’ll see our sign near the back where the trucks park. It’s a simple setup but it works for us.
