We are located in the Manjalpur area of Vadodara, specifically over at C/4 Dreamland Flats. We are right near the Pramukh Prasad cross roads, so it is pretty easy to find if you know the neighborhood. We do construction work, mostly around this side of the city. The office is in a residential building, so it feels quite local and grounded. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of maps of the local wards pinned to the walls. It is often quite loud because of the proximity to the main road, but we don't mind it much. We have been part of this community for a while. Our days are filled with visiting sites, talking to contractors, and making sure we have enough cement and steel for the next day. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It is just building things and making sure they stay up. Sometimes we have to deal with delays or issues with the blueprints, and we just figure it out as we go. The tea stall nearby is where we spend a lot of our breaks. It is a simple operation run by people who live right here in the city. We just take one project at a time and do what needs doing. It keeps us occupied and we get to see the city changing around us through our own work.
