Shree Haridwar Logistics

Being over here at Chhani 17Th Main is quite the experience. We are located in the K H B Colony, specifically near the Transport Corporation area. If you look behind the Arc Ltd building, you will find the old godown where Shree Haridwar Logistics operates. It’s right near the National Highway, so we hear trucks going by at all hours. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We spend most of our time moving things around and checking the gates. It’s dusty work, being so close to the highway and all those big vehicles. The coffee from the shop across the road is what keeps us going on the long days. Sometimes the directions get a bit confusing for people trying to find the old godown, so we find ourselves standing out by the main road waving them in. It is not a shiny corporate office, just a practical space for practical work. The floor is concrete and there are always stacks of crates or boxes waiting to be loaded. We know the other drivers and the folks working at the neighboring warehouses. It’s a tight community in this part of Chhani. We just get on with it, day in and day out, making sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s a noisy, busy place but we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if it were quiet. It’s just life on the highway side.
