Shraddha Clinic

Shraddha Clinic has been here at Sahyog Flat in Akota for a while now. If you know the area, we are right near the Ganesh Temple, which makes it easy for folks to find us. Usually, the day starts around nine when we open the doors and get things ready. It isn’t a huge place, just a simple clinic setup where people from the GH Board area come when they aren't feeling well. The waiting area has some chairs that have seen better days, and there is a small desk where we keep the records. Outside, you can hear the bells from the temple during the morning prayers, which is actually quite nice to listen to while working. Akota is a busy part of town, so there is always a bit of traffic noise coming in from the street. We don’t have any fancy decorations or anything like that. It is just a practical space meant for seeing patients and talking to them about their health issues. Most of the people who walk in are locals from the nearby flats who have been coming here for years. We know most of them by name. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans stay on all day. Sometimes the water cooler makes a bit of a rattling sound, but we’re used to it. It’s just a normal, everyday clinic where we try to do our jobs and help whoever walks through the door.
