Shiv Sadhana Nrutya Sangeet Academy

Shiv Sadhana Nrutya Sangeet Academy is up on the second floor of the Mable Complex. We are located on Vrajdham Mandir Road, right near Tapan Vidhyalay in Manjalpur. If you come by in the afternoon, you can usually hear the sound of the tabla or the bells from the dancers' feet all the way down in the parking lot. We teach traditional dance and music here. The rooms have wooden floors and big mirrors, which we try to keep clean, but with so many students coming in and out, there's always a bit of dust. We aren't a huge institution, just a local school where kids and some adults come to learn. Our teachers have been with us for a long time. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a good space once you’re inside. We spend a lot of time scheduling classes and talking to parents about their children's progress. The road outside can be quite hectic when the school nearby lets out, so we try to time our classes to avoid the worst of the traffic. It’s a place where we just focus on the art. We don't have fancy brochures or a high-tech website. We just teach the way we were taught, passing on the music and dance to the next generation. It’s rewarding to see the students improve over the months and gain some confidence.
