Shilpa Vijay Kumar Sheth

I am Shilpa Vijay Kumar Sheth and I run this little place at 4 Subhanpura. We are located right in Almash Market, which is on Panigate Road. If you are looking for us, the easiest way is to find the Jalaram Temple first. We are directly opposite that. It is a very lively area to be in. Every day is a bit different here. Some mornings it is quiet and I can get my paperwork done while drinking a cup of tea. By the afternoon, the market is usually buzzing with people. I’ve been in this spot for several years now. It isn't a huge operation. It’s just a small shop where I manage things. My husband, Vijay Kumar Sheth, helps out when he isn't busy with his own work. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just us. The market has its own rhythm. I know the other shop owners and we often chat about how the day is going. The building at 4 Subhanpura is pretty simple. We have kept it the same way since we moved in. It works for what we do. I don't see the point in changing things just for the sake of it. Being across from the Jalaram Temple means we get a lot of people walking by. Some stop in just to say hello. I like that local feel. It makes the workday go by faster when you know your neighbors.
