Shilchar Electronics Pvt Ltd is located on Bil Road as well. We share the same general area as some other local outfits and small workshops. It’s a practical location for us to be in. Being on Bil Road means we have enough space for our workshop without paying the high rents of the city center. It isn't a showroom or anything fancy like that. We have benches set up with soldering irons, magnifying lamps, and testing equipment. It smells a bit like melted solder and old dust in the corners. We’ve been at this for a while now. The company name is simple because that’s exactly what we do. We handle electronic components and small assemblies. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the small machines are running, but usually, it’s just the sound of people working quietly. We have a small break room where the fridge makes a weird humming noise that we've all grown used to. Nobody bothers to fix it because it still keeps the water cold. We are more focused on the work on the benches anyway. The road outside has some deep potholes that never seem to get filled properly by the council. We just drive around them every day. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. It's just us. We take in the jobs, we finish them, and we move to the next one. It’s a steady, honest rhythm here at Bil Road.
