You can find us at Plot No 444 in the Gidc Estate on Waghodia Road. It’s a big estate, and we’re just one of many businesses tucked away in there. We have been here for a good many years now, through the ups and downs of the local economy. The building is a bit older, with some patches on the walls that we’ve had to fix over time, but it holds up well. Working in pharmaceuticals means we have to be careful, but we don't act like we’re in some high-tech movie. It’s just regular people in lab coats making sure the measurements are right. The air in the estate can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so we’re always sweeping the floors. Our team is a mix of older folks who have been here since the start and some younger ones from the neighborhood. We don’t have a big corporate hierarchy. If something breaks, we usually just fix it ourselves or call the guy down the road who knows the machines. Waghodia Road is always busy with traffic, so we try to leave a bit early to avoid the worst of it. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Most people know us because they’ve worked with us before or seen our sign on the plot. It’s a straightforward life here at Sharma Pharmaceutical, just doing the daily grind and trying to keep everything running smoothly without much fuss.
