Shankar Chemicals

You can find Shankar Chemicals over in Chamunda Nagar within the G. I. D. C. area. We are near Post Nandeswari and right across from the I.P.C.L. Dumping Yard. It might not sound like the most glamorous location but for an industrial chemical business it’s actually a very good spot for us. We have plenty of space here and the big trucks can get in and out without too much trouble which is the main thing we worry about. The yard across the way is a big landmark so people always know where to turn when they come to visit. We’ve been operating out of this G.I.D.C. patch for quite a while now. The air always has that industrial tang to it and there’s the constant sound of machinery from the neighboring units. We spend most of our time in the warehouse checking on stocks and making sure the labels are all correct. It’s a hands-on kind of job and we often end the day with some stains on our clothes but that’s just part of the work. We have a small crew and we all know how to handle the different materials we work with. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sales team. We just answer the phone when it rings and take care of the people who have been buying from us for many years. It’s a quiet but steady way to live and work.
