Shankar Chemicalas

Our place is on IPCL Road, right across from Guj Dyechem Industries in the GIDC section of Chamunda Nagar. It's an area where everyone is doing something related to chemicals or manufacturing. We’ve been at this spot for a good while. The address says Shankar Chemicalas on the small board outside. It’s mostly tanks, barrels, and pipes around here. We spend the day monitoring things and making sure the containers are sealed and labeled right. It's not a glamorous job, and your clothes usually end up smelling like the shop by the end of the shift. The road outside is always busy with tankers and trucks moving stuff between the different GIDC units. We keep our own space as tidy as you can keep a chemical yard. There’s a lot of paperwork because of what we handle, so there's always someone sitting at the old wooden desk in the corner of the small office room. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just handle the orders that come through from other businesses in the area or folks who know our name. It's a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We just do the work and go home, then come back and do it again the next morning. It’s just how we have always done things here. It works for us and keeps the bills paid.
