Shangrila Construction

You’ll find us, Shangrila Construction, over at B/33 in Ghanshyam Park Society, right off New Sama Road near the Chhani Lakat Naka in Baroda. It's a busy part of town and we’ve been working out of this spot for a good while. We aren't doing anything fancy here; we just handle the day-to-day business of building and repairs. Most of our time is spent on-site, dealing with the heat and the noise of the machinery. Our office in the society is where we keep our books and meet with people to discuss what they need built. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated plans. Usually, it’s just a matter of getting the right amount of cement and bricks to the right place at the right time. Baroda is always growing, so there is usually something to do. We might be a small team, but we know our way around a construction site. We have our fair share of long days and tired backs, but that’s just how this trade is. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. People usually find us because they see us working nearby or someone tells them about us. We just keep our heads down and do the work as best as we can. It’s a lot of concrete and sweat, but we are used to it by now.
