J K Florist is situated on the ground floor of the Phoenix Complex. We have units 41 and 42. We are right in Sayajigunj, which is a very central part of Vadodara. You can find us near Suraj Plaza. It’s a great spot because there are always people walking by. Being a florist, our shop is usually full of different flowers and the smell is quite nice. We spend our days trimming stems and making bouquets for people. It’s a lot of work with your hands. We have been in the Phoenix Complex for many years now. Most of our regular customers just drop in when they need something for a birthday or a wedding. We don't do much in the way of big advertising campaigns. We just put our flowers out and let them speak for themselves. The shop can get a bit messy with leaves and water on the floor, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small team here who really knows their plants. It’s a simple business. We open up early to get the fresh stock in. Sometimes the shop is crowded, especially during festival seasons or holidays. We just try to help everyone who comes through the door as quickly as we can. It’s a nice way to spend the day, working with nature in the middle of a busy city. We like the variety of people we meet here. It makes the job interesting every single time someone walks in.
