We are based out in Manjusar, at the Shankarbhai Patel Industrial Estate. Our specific spot is Plot No. B-24. It’s quite a bit of a drive from the main Vadodara city, but it's where we could find enough space for what we do. We have a bit of a double name, Riya Marketing and Meritorious International, but it's all the same group of us working under one roof every day. The industrial estate is quite big and can be a bit dusty when the wind picks up in the afternoons. We spend most of our time managing various shipments and talking to different suppliers on the phone. It’s a lot of manual checking of manifests and making sure the boxes are labeled right. The office is very functional, with a few old fans going and stacks of files on all the tables. We don’t have a flashy entrance with a receptionist. Just a regular door and a sign on the wall. We deal with all sorts of different products, moving them from one place to another for our clients. It’s mostly about making sure the logistics don’t fall apart at the last minute. Savli is a growing area, so there’s always some kind of construction happening nearby. We get used to the constant noise of the trucks and the dust. Some days are very long, especially when a shipment gets delayed at the port. We just stay here in Gujara until the job is done.
