We spend most of our days at the office here in Gorwa, right in the Gujarat Housing Board area. It’s a busy spot in Vadodara, and honestly, the traffic near Shakti Nagar can get pretty hectic around five o'clock. Most of us here have been working in construction for years. We aren't a big fancy firm with a lobby or anything like that. It is just a small room where we look at site plans and talk to the workers. If you come by, you’ll probably see a lot of dust and some old files stacked in the corner. We do a lot of work around Surat too, even though the main office is here in Vadodara. It means we spend a lot of time on the road or checking on progress at different sites. The weather gets really hot in the summer, which makes site visits a bit of a struggle, but that is just part of the job. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet. We just try to get the work done without making a big fuss about it. We know the local guys and the suppliers in the neighborhood. It’s a simple operation. No one wears a suit here. We are usually in jeans and dusty shoes because we just came from a site. That is how it has always been for us. We have built everything from small walls to bigger residential blocks, and each one has its own set of headaches that we have to solve. It is not always easy, but we have been doing it long enough that we don't get surprised by much anymore.
