Sanjay Motors

Our shop is right at Nagarwada Char Rasta, specifically at Brij Corner, which stays pretty crowded throughout the day. Sanjay Motors has been around this part of Nagarwada for a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. We open up the shutters every morning, pull out the tools, and start looking at whatever vehicles came in the night before. It’s a noisy corner with all the rickshaws and bikes buzzing past constantly, but it’s home for us. The walls are lined with spare parts and old tools that have seen better days, but they still do the job just fine for the repairs we do. We don't have a big front office or anything like that, just a small desk where we keep the ledger and the keys. Most of our day is spent out on the workshop floor, either under a car or talking to someone about a strange noise their engine is making. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to organize the shelves, though they usually get messy again by the end of the week. It’s dusty work and by the evening we’re usually exhausted, but there is something nice about seeing a car drive away running much better than it did when it first arrived. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local garage keeping things running for the folks around here. If you're ever passing the crossroad, you'll probably see us there working away in the heat.
